In 250 Italian cities, 660 sites that are usually closed to the public will be open to the public, with 3.800 volunteers ready to accompany visitors through 150 thematic itineraries. Among the places involved in the initiative are palaces, churches, castles, archaeological areas, gardens, industrial architecture, craft shops, museums, lighthouses but also entire villages, districts, mills, dams, cisterns and aqueducts.
