From the collaboration betweenNational Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) and the scientific information channel of theANSA agency, curator of the initiative, on the occasion of the 25 years ofINGV the project was born “Unstable Earth” which sees the creation of 12 podcasts.
Numerous topics will be covered thanks to the contribution of researchers from theINGVThe series will cover topics such as climate change and the consequences in the oceans, variations in the Earth's magnetic field, Italian volcanoes and much more.
It will also be Virtual entry allowed of Seismic Surveillance and Tsunami Alert Operations Room where every day dozens of earthquakes are located in Italy, the Mediterranean and the rest of the world.
We will also talk about the Campi Flegrei and the phenomenon of bradyseism, which is very current.
The purpose of the 12 appointments It is an analysis of events constantly changing which cannot yet be fully understood. Being the EARTH an unstable planet is crucial, for the scientific knowledge, analyze its limits and find the tools to overcome them.
