From 8 to 11 May 2025 Will be held at Roma the first of the six appointments of the 26ª edition of Race for the Cure, the largest event in Italy and in the world for the prevention and fight against breast cancer organized by the association “Susan G. Komen Italy”It will take place as usual at Circus Maximus, an evocative setting for the events and initiatives scheduled for the four days of the event.
THENational Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) will participate for the eighth consecutive year in the Roman stage with the team “INGV FOR LIFE”, which you can join by searching for the name of the team in the section of the event website.
The program for the 2025 edition of the Race for the Cure includes the opening of the Women's Health Village from 8 to 10 May, from 10:00 17:30, where free prevention tests and workshops will be offered to promote healthy and conscious lifestyles and, Sunday May 11, the traditional race di 5 km, the walk di 2 km along the streets of the center and the competitive path of 10 km.
The aim of the event is to raise public awareness aboutimportance of prevention of a disease that can affect both women and men and raise funds for research.
