Back to SpaceDream, the contest dedicated to children and school kids, conceived and promoted by National Aerospace Technology Cluster (CTNA) with the patronage ofNational Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV),Italian Space Agency (ASI) and National Institute of Astrophysics (INAF).

The project, now in its fifth edition, aims to spread aerospace culture in schools primary and secondary schools, and encourage young people to cultivate interest in STEM subjects deepening our knowledge of Space through challenges, ingenuity and creativity.

The activities proposed by the contest, renamed “Space Missions”, are divided into categories based on the age target and supported by educational video resources available to participants. The winners of each Mission will be awarded with books, gadgets and games spatial and will be able to present their works during the award ceremony days.

  • The sky in a room| Space Mission for 1st and 2nd Graders
    The mission requires children to draw maps of at least 4 of the major constellations: Ursa Major, Ursa Minor, Cassiopeia, Cygnus and many others.
  • Space pastimes| Space Mission for 3rd, 4th and 5th Graders
    Activity whose goal is to create a poster with games and pastimes on the theme of “Space”: from crosswords to puzzles, through coded tracks, crossword puzzles and much more.
  • Space Game| Space Mission for Middle Schools
    A mission that requires the kids to be as creative as possible in inventing, based on the teaching materials provided, a space board game.
  • Space Quiz| Space Mission for High Schools
    A super space challenge with a 20-question quiz on the theme of “Space”, with a special focus on Mars, where preparation and speed will be the winning factors.
