The presentation of the project was held on October 22nd at the Press Room of the City Hall of Acireale “Etna traces the territory of the Aci”, in collaboration with the Etna Observatory of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV-OE) of Catania and the Basaltika Cultural Association. The project aims to narrate the history and eruptive events that, over the centuries, have determined the development and identity of the Aci territory.
The event will open on October 25th at the Galatea Hall at the Town Hall of the City of Acireale, in the presence of Stefano Branca, director of the INGV Etneo Observatory of Catania and the mayor of the city of Acireale, Roberto Barbagallo. Subsequently, from 26 October to 27 December it will be possible to visit the Contemporary Art Exhibition “Dreaming Awake – The Resilience of Art".
