From 9 to 12 May the largest event dedicated to the prevention and fight against breast cancer: the Race for the Cure, organized by the “Susan G. Komen Italia” association.
The event, which will be held in the evocative setting of Circus Maximus, includes four intense days of events and initiatives aimed at raising awareness and promoting health and well-being.

From 9 to 11 May: the Health Village will be operational, where free prevention tests and workshops will be offered to promote healthy lifestyles.

Sunday 12 May: highlight day with the traditional run (5 km) and walk (2 km) in the streets of the city centre, which will see thousands of participants coloring the streets of Rome.
The National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) is also participating this year in the Race for the Cure through the "INGV FOR LIFE" team, which has animated the event in Rome for seven editions, two editions in Bologna and, for the for the first time last year, it saw the participation of colleagues from the INGV Vesuvian Observatory (INGV - OV) of Naples.

The official Race for the Cure 2024 KIT can be requested with home delivery or collected at the Health Village until the morning of the race.
Collection of the official KIT:
On 9 and 10 April from 11.30 to 15.00, in the atrium of the INGV headquarters in Rome, in via di Vigna Murata 605, the KOMEN volunteers will be present with a small gazebo to collect the official Race for the Cure 2024 KIT.
