From 5 to 13 October 2024 the XNUMXth edition of the event will be held in Nicolosi (CT). Convective and Volcanic Cloud (CVC) International Training School.
The School, sponsored byNational Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV), From 'International Association of Volcanology and Chemistry of the Earth's Interior (IAVCEI), From 'Italian Association of Volcanology (AIV) and from Municipality of Nicolosi, will see the participation of speakers and students from all over the world and will have the aim of training the young scientists who will take part.
Students and experts will compete for nine days with in-depth lectures, excursions to the summit craters of Etna, field measurements and exercises with data analysis.
The location of the School will be the city of Nicolosi, a small town located on the slopes of Etna, known for being the "gateway to the volcano".
The CVC School is open to researchers, pilots, air traffic managers and anyone interested in the topics covered, with particular attention to graduate students, doctoral students and young researchers.
Applications must be submitted by Thursday 30 May 2024.
