Appointments with schools are back to share the passion for Earth sciences with the new generations
The geoscientists of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) are ready to welcome pupils from primary and secondary schools to the Rome headquarters and to the Geosciences Museum of Rocca di Papa (RM).
From the 16 October 2023 to the 7 June 2024, researchers will lead students in fascinating journeys to discover our beloved planet Earth, Gaea.
Schools can book visits (max two classes at a time) at the INGV headquarters in Rome, in Via di Vigna Murata 605 which will take place on Mondays and Fridays, from 9.30 to 12.30.
At the Geosciences Museum of Rocca di Papa, visits can take place from Monday to Friday, from 9.30 to 12.30.
Students will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of Earth sciences through engaging and interactive experiences, led by INGV experts. The most fascinating topics concerning our planet will be covered: fromorigin of volcanoesand the movement of tectonic plates, to the generation of earthquakes, offering students a new and fascinating vision of the Earth.
