From Thursday 4 to Sunday 7 May 2023 the Circus Maximus in Rome will turn pink again for the XXIV edition of Race for the Cure, the largest event in Italy and in the world for prevention and fight against breast cancer organized by the association “Susan G. Komen Italy”. THENational Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) he will participate for the 6th consecutive year with the team “INGV FOR LIFE”, which you can join by searching for the team name in the section “Join an existing team” of the event website. Once again this year the Race for the Cure includes four days of events and initiatives which will culminate on Sunday 7 May with the traditional 5km run and with the 2 km walk through the streets of the center of the capital. Furthermore, from 4 to 6 May, the Health Village, with doctors and specialists who will offer free prevention exams and workshops to promote healthy lifestyles. The goal of the great sport, health and solidarity event is once again to raise public awareness of theimportance of prevention of a pathology that can affect both women and men and raise important funds for the fight against breast cancer.
