From Friday 21 April to Tuesday 25 April it will be nice to get together to celebrate Earth Day in the Village for the Earth.
Conceived by Earth Day Italia and realized in collaboration with the Focolare Movement of Rome, the event is the promotion of civil and environmental sensitivity on the occasion of the national celebrations of World Earth Day on 22 April.
The Village for the Earth will be animated by thousands of people and by more than 600 events thanks to the collaboration with over 250 organizations over the various days of the event.
Like other years, the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) will meet in the park of Villa Borghese which frames the sporting, cultural and artistic activities. In addition, 17 multimedia squares are dedicated to the individual objectives of the UN 2030 Agenda, with meetings, workshops, exhibitions and events by the many organizations that participate in the event every year.
INGV researchers will take you into the world of Geosciences to discover the deepest functioning of our 'home' with exhibits, workshops and games for children aged 5 to 99 (...and beyond!).
