He joined our institute in 2004. Thanks to his large number of licenses he was integrated into the group of INGV drivers where he stood out for his generous advice on how to drive certain "special" vehicles that the institute had acquired over time …. “be careful, if you use low gears and the differential lock, as soon as you leave the dirt road you must stop immediately, disengage it and put the normal gears” … how many times did he say it to those who ventured out on a mission.
In 2015, his precarious status ended and he was hired on a permanent basis… he was very happy and delighted.
Reserved, polite, sometimes almost shy, he has always been animated by great curiosity and has always looked for new work ideas outside his normal routine.
So gradually he becomes a veteran in the missions in Antarctica and soon also arrives at the activities of the Siismiko operational group, attending most of the activities in seismic emergency.
In 2018, animated by the desire to grow and gain new work experiences, he requested and obtained the transfer to our Section, belonging to the Seismology Laboratory of the National Seismic Network.
Available to any undertaking requested of him, when the need arose his words were: “… and what's the matter, I'm going there"....
