"Draw your planet" is underway, the competition aimed at primary school students promoted by the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) for the creation of the INGV school calendar 2022-2023.
The initiative invites primary school pupils to develop a representation of our planet, with the aim of making the earth on which we live ever better known and to stimulate, with the guidance of teachers, a discussion on the fragility of our ecosystem and on the challenges of science in which they will be called to be protagonists.

It is possible to freely choose the subject following the following suggestions:

- The Earth has been through a lot and has a history spanning 4,5 billion years. How do you imagine the Earth in the past?
- Draw the Planet in the places where you live or a particular landscape that represents your idea of the Planet or ideal Planet.
- The future of the planet is also in your hands. What is your image of the Planet Earth of the future?

To participate, Primary School pupils must send their original drawings, by 15 June 2022, to: Competition: Draw your Planet, Workshop Activities with schools, National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology, Via di Vigna Murata 605 | 00143 Rome – Italy.

In the attached poster you will find the rules for taking part in the competition and a brief profile that offers some clues that will allow participants to deepen the topic to be developed, also with the help of teachers and classmates.
