The National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) participates on Wednesday 15 September in the National Congress of the Italian Physical Society (SIF). The appointment is online at the link https://congresso2021.sif.it/
In particular, the Geophysics and Environmental Physics Section sees the participation of the INGV President Carlo Doglioni and the Institute's experts in order to illustrate the research activities carried out by the Body; we will talk about eruptions, volcanic risk and monitoring also from Space, as well as polarized plate tectonics and earthquakes.
Founded in 1897, the SIF is a non-profit association which aims to promote, encourage and protect the study and progress of Physics in Italy and in the world and represents the Italian scientific community, from the world of research and teaching to the professional one, public and private, in all fields of Physics and in all its application sectors.
