The 15 Transparency Day of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) took place today, December 2020th. The appointment, promoted again this year by the Head of Corruption Prevention and Transparency of INGV, Stefano Salvi, took place in virtual mode.
The Day, introduced by the President of the Institute Carlo Doglioni and by the Director General Massimo Bilotta, saw a series of seminars scheduled to recall the activities carried out by the Institute in the field of Transparency.
In particular, with the interventions of Giuliana Rubbia and Daniele Bravi, members of the Working Group for updating the INGV Employee Code of Conduct, the Code currently in force was illustrated and proposals were made for its forthcoming reformulation.
Furthermore, the head of the INGV Press Office, Valeria De Paola, offered a contribution on the communication and dissemination of the results of the research activity to the press, while the head of the Institute's Legal Affairs and Litigation Sector, Pasquale Guidace , dealt with the issue of disciplinary proceedings in the Public Employment.
The event was streamed to all INGV offices.
