Next Tuesday 24 September the Department of Architecture of the Federico II University of Naples will host the information day "The changing climate: climate change, global warming and migratory flows", organized as part of the initiatives scheduled throughout Europe for the 2019 edition of the European Researchers' Night - SHARPER project.

The event, organized by the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV), the National Institute of Astrophysics (INAF) and the Departments of Architecture (DIARC) and Earth Sciences (DISTAR) of the Federico II University of Naples, will address the issue of climate change from various points of view with the aim of providing, in parallel with the School, those elements of knowledge necessary for active citizenship and not to be easy prey to "fake news".

Starting from the more general aspects and possible causes, the meeting will explore the influence that the Sun has on our planet's climate, the story that rocks and ice cores can tell about past climatic variations, today's migrations linked also to the climate changes underway and the new paradigms of contemporary architecture.
