The National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology, on the occasion of the anniversary of the 1st Regional Seismic Literacy Day, opens its Rome office to all citizens and schools to talk about earthquakes, the environment and the importance of our actions for seismic prevention and land conservation. A special occasion to learn about INGV's research and service activities and to share with you all our constant attention to the local area, the environment and risk mitigation.
OPEN DAY
Sunday January 12 2020 from hours to 10 18
On the program: conferences, itineraries, musical entertainment, photographic exhibition, virtual reality, play area for children and teenagers and a special scientific raffle.
In the waiting areas it will be possible to visit: the photographic exhibition; try the virtual experience inside the earth; experience the virtual reality of Antarctica.
Starting at 10, there will be courses and cycles of meetings with INGV researchers.
Accumulate syllables by following the meetings and you will participate in the final scientific bingo at the end of the morning and at the end of the evening.

On the occasion of seismic literacy days, INGV promotes a competition for primary schools for the creation of the 2020-2021 school calendar dedicated to schools.
