From 5 to 7 December 2023, the European Expo-Forum on the New Space Economy (NSE), the annual event for space and aerospace research, returns to Fiera di Roma, with a special focus on the social impact of these applications (
The INGV, National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology, will once again be in the front row, contributing to the rich program of the event organized by the Amaldi Foundation, Fiera Roma, in collaboration with the Italian Space Agency (ASI).
The COS-INGV, Earth Space Observations Centre, will guide INGV's participation also in this new 2023 edition, coordinating the organisation's activities in the space and aerospace sector. The INGV stand will offer a unique opportunity for the public to interact with researchers, discovering how spatial culture can be applied to Geosciences to investigate earthquakes, volcanoes and the environment.
Through informative flyers, thematic videos, seminars and technical-scientific demonstrations, INGV researchers will present their research projects and services based on the analysis of spatial data and technological development.

With a second entirely digital edition, the international appointment with the European Expo-Forum on the New Space Economy (NSE,
INGV's participation in the NSE will be coordinated by the Institute's new Earth Space Observations Center (COS-INGV), created with the aim of connecting and planning the organisation's activities in the space and aerospace sector, as well as to encourage the participation of researchers in the generation of services and products for society and external bodies.
2019 edition
The space activities carried out by INGV researchers will be presented to the public and sector operators as part of the New Space Economy Expo Forum, scheduled at the Rome Fair from 10 to 12 December 2019.
The NSE Expo Forum, organized in collaboration with Space Foundation, will provide an opportunity to meet and exchange views between existing and new industrial players, innovative small and medium-sized enterprises, investors, venture capitalists, start-ups, research centers, space agencies and institutions with interests in space.
