Call 2011
This year the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology is promoting a civil service project aimed at girls and boys between the ages of 18 and 28 who are interested in gaining experience in the geophysics and volcanology sector. There are 10 places for the project that will take place at the Catania site and will start in 2012, with a duration of 12 months.

October 21, 2011, 14.00 pm.

Admission requirements and conditions – Italian citizens between the ages of 18 and 28 who are physically fit to carry out the activities envisaged by the chosen project and who have no criminal convictions can apply. It is possible to submit only one application for participation for a single national civil service project among those promoted by the UNSC tender.
Presentation of the application – The application, referred to in attachments 2 and 3 of the aforementioned notice, must reach INGV by 21 October 2011 at 14.00 pm signed and accompanied by a copy of an identity document. Applications arriving after this deadline, those not signed or to which a copy of an identity document has not been attached, will not be taken into consideration. Therefore, it is advisable not to wait until the last few days to send the application, given the possible postal delays that could occur.

The territorial context in which the project activities are foreseen is the entire territory of the Sicilian Region, even if most of the activities will be carried out in the active volcanic areas (Etna, Aeolian Islands and Pantelleria) and in the main seismic areas (M. Iblei and M. Peloritani).
